Meet Diddy’s ‘nepo baby’ lawyer, Teny Geragos, whose famous ‘celebrity attorney’ dad defended Chris Brown in….

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer Teny Geragos has gone on TV and TikTok to claim that her client is innocent, after the rapper was arrested and charged with sex trafficking on September 16, in New York City.

In a new interview on News Nation show Cuomo, Geragos told the host: “He’s fighting. He’s innocent, and he’s going to be able to show it.”

Geragos, who is the daughter of celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos, continued to defend the music producer: “I hope he gets out. He has done everything somebody under investigation can do. I can’t think of anything else that he could have done. There were no surprises here, Chris. We knew that he was under investigation for racketeering and sex trafficking, and he stayed put. He committed not to fly out of the country. He stayed within the country, and they didn’t ask that of him. That was a commitment he made.” She added, “But those activities and the lifestyle is not criminal. What was notable today, what my partner Mark said in court, is they never once said that these women didn’t consent to what happened, not once.” Combs, 54, was denied bail again on Wednesday, after his lawyers argued that he should be released from the “horrific” jail conditions as he awaits his trail, writes the BBC.

Geragos also took to TikTok to share clips of her defending the hip-hop mogul using visual aids. “All right, here we go again, Diddy sued by a former bandmate; I’m his lawyer and here’s why you should care,” she said in one video, as reported by The New York Times. Here’s what we know about her:

Teny Geragos has legal roots, with her father being the famed American criminal defence lawyer, Mark Geragos.

The 66-year-old has represented a number of celebrity clients over the years, including Combs, Winona Ryder, Chris Brown (during his Rihanna assault case), Kesha, Michael Jackson, and Susan McDougal, one of the defendants in the Clintons’ Whitewater scandal in the 1990s, according to Chambers Associate.

“I’ve always enjoyed fighting for the underdog and helping those who face overwhelming odds in their quest for justice,” he said in a previous interview with the organisation.

“That is why for the first 20 years of my career, I focused my practice on criminal defence,” he added.

Where did Teny Geragos study?
Geragos wasn’t always on the path to becoming a lawyer. From 2009 to 2013, she studied art history and media, culture and communications, according to her LinkedIn page. She went on to obtain a law doctorate at the Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, per the same source.

According to its website, Geragos is the founding partner at Agnifilo Intrater LLP, a New York-based law firm that “represents individuals in complex and sensitive criminal matters”. Her profile states that she is experienced in representing clients who have been accused of sexual assault, sexual harassment, or other types of sexual misconduct; and also victims of sexual assault and violence. She was previously associated with Brafman & Associates, P.C. for eight years, per her profile on the company website.

As per an article published by Over the Moon, Geragos tied the knot with Ashwinn Krishnaswamy, co-founder of design and development agency Forge, in her parents’ home in 2021. “I always wanted to get married at my parents’ house, and with the uncertainty around Covid, it made the garden venue an even more perfect option,” she told the outlet. She wore a Zimmermann dress for the rehearsal dinner, then opted for a Carolina Herrera gown with white Manolos for her big day, before changing into a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta minidress with Aquazzura heels after the ceremony, adds the source.

Former WWE wrestler and Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista, 55, recently addressed his sudden weight loss, explaining it was all part of shedding the weight he gained for his role on Knock at the Cabin (2023). In a chat with TikTok personality Chris Van Vliet, Bautista revealed he put on an “uncomfortable amount of weight”, hitting 143kg (315 pounds) for the role. “I got really big for a role, and it was uncomfortably big,” he shared, noting that this time, it wasn’t muscle but carbs that were responsible for his size.
After the film wrapped, Bautista worked hard to slim down, admitting “it took forever”, but he now feels much better. For fans concerned about his slimmer appearance, he reassured them: “I’m six foot four [193cm], 240 pounds [109kg]! I still look like a gorilla next to your typical actor.”

After hanging up his WWE boots, Bautista took the acting world by storm, but not without some personal turbulence along the way – including three marriages, with his most recent to competitive pole dancer Sarah Jade having ended in 2019. Despite his busy career, Bautista remains a dedicated father to his three children: daughters Keilani and Athena, from his first marriage, and son Oliver, from his second marriage. Here’s what to know about Dave Bautista’s children.

Keilani Bautista, 34, has opted to stay out of the spotlight and keeps her social media accounts private. Born in 1990 to Bautista and his first wife Glenda, Keilani is a mother of two sons, Aiden and Jacob, per The List.
Despite growing up in the shadow of her dad’s wrestling career, she and her family have remained close. According to Briefly, Keilani is married to her children’s father, James Haney, though they’ve kept the details of their relationship, including their wedding, private.

Athena Bautista, 32, is Dave Bautista’s second daughter with Glenda. In 2010, she made headlines when a sex tape featuring her and then-boyfriend Justin Miller surfaced on World Star Hip Hop, according to eCelebrityMirror. Despite rumours of more tapes, none followed, and the initial video received negative feedback. After the controversy, Athena retreated from the public eye, briefly running a YouTube channel before deactivating it. She now keeps a low profile, having stepped away from the media spotlight.

Oliver Bautista, 17, was born in 2007 via in vitro fertilisation. His mother Angie called him her “miracle baby” after beating ovarian cancer, per BHW. Though born after his parents’ divorce, they continue to co-parent and stay involved in his life.
Like his sisters, Oliver keeps a low profile but has occasionally been seen with his dad at events like baseball games, showing their strong father-son bond.
